Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the older part of Southville, within walking distance of the centre of Bristol, the greenhouse offers a quiet, comfortable and convenient place to stay. Well situated and equipped for the business and holiday traveller alike and offering an oasis of calm in an otherwise very busy and vibrant city.

Enjoy a very relaxed and comfortable stay in one of our four bedrooms: one single, two doubles and one twin. All offer modern en-suite facilities with constant hot water, tea and coffee making facilities, freeview TV and radio alarm. Each room has thermostatically controlled central heating.

We are noted for our award-winning breakfasts which, wherever possible are locally sourced and include, organic and/or fair trade products. Our organic breads and fruit compote are favourites. In the summertime, guests take breakfast in the garden if they wish. With notice, we cater for most diets – just contact fran@thegreenhouse.co.uk to discuss your reservation and requirements.

During the 11 years of the greenhouse welcoming guests, Southville has 'up and come' with two theatres, a thriving cafe-bar culture, restaurants and shops all within 3 minutes walk. Just 5 minutes in the other direction is the heritage SS Great Britain, situated on the historic Bristol harbourside – again, with its own eateries, bars and wonderful views of Bristol.

We are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac where easy parking is available and free.
